According to the details shared by the medical examiner’s office, the crash occurred close to the 87th Street and Normal Avenue in Gresham on the South Side. It happened late at night and was reported to the police at around 11:30 p.m. Lott sustained critical injuries in the accident. Once the first responders and law enforcement personnel arrived on the scene of the crash, he was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center. Attempts were made to save him, however he succumbed to his injuries and died.
