Felix Rivera, 63, Killed In Apple Valley Pedestrian Accident


A Friday night pedestrian accident in Apple Valley took the life of 63 year old Felix Rivera.

Some time close to 8pm, Rivera was crossing Highway 18 at Rancherias Road, when he was struck by a westbound Subaru Impreza. He was then pushed to the other lane, where he was run over by a second car. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies and the Fire Department pronounced Rivera dead on the scene.

The initial cause of the accident is still being investigated. There was no crosswalk where Rivera had been crossing.
