The Fresno County Coroner identified the victims of a fatal crash at Conejo Avenue and Highway 41, California, as Rachel Krumm, 35, and Joseph Camacho, 26. The crash occurred on Monday Morning, May 25, at about 3 AM, according to accident reports.

Reports from the California Highway Patrol revealed that a 25-year-old man from Fresno was on the wheels of a vehicle when he veered off the road. The car struck a metal lamppost stationed on the northeast corner of the intersection, killing Krumm and Camacho. The driver also sustained severe injuries as a result.

Following preliminary investigations, police discovered that alcohol or drugs were not factors in the collision. There is no further information regarding the accident.

Motorists must ensure that they carry out regular maintenance checks on their vehicles. These checks are necessary to prevent accidents and breakdown of cars on the roadway.

With this regular maintenance, faulty motor parts are easily detected and replaced with new ones. It also keeps the vehicle working efficiently at all times. Many accidents occur because of a lack of motor vehicle maintenance.

Poor maintenance of cars is among the major causes of road collisions. This shows how important it is for drivers to service their vehicles regularly. Aside from maintaining a proper maintenance culture, motorists must also obey traffic rules and regulations.

Accident reports show that many of the collisions that occur on roadways are avoidable. Hence drivers must pay more attention to being safety conscious. When drivers practice these measures and drive safely, the number of motor vehicle accidents will reduce significantly.
