An SUV driver escaped serious injury during a rollover accident in the Long Beach area after a collision with a car.  The incident occurred on the corner of Ocean Blvd and Magnolia Avenue and involved an 18-year-old driver, who was behind the wheel of the blue Saturn SUV.  The female motorist explained that she was turning left onto Magnolia when she was broadsided by a red Mitsubishi that was heading east on Ocean.

The compact SUV flipped on  impact, hitting the curb on the Southside of Magnolia.  Although damage to the Mitsubishi was minor, the SUV was completely wrecked.  As of press time, the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
