During the car accident, the driver overturned the car, killing its passenger, Chavez. The 2:15 Monday afternoon accident occurred south of Bailey Toad in Mountain Pass.
Chavez, a 24-year old Arleta woman, was pronounced dead at the scene of the car accident.
