The man killed in a vehicle collision in Pomona, California, has been identified. Updates made to the car accident report on Monday, September 21st, named Omar Martinez, 20, as the fatal victim.
The solo car crash happened on Arrow Highway and Yorkshire Way on Saturday, September 19th. The report by the Pomona Police Department revealed that Martinez lost control of his car, and collided with a tree around 4:45 p.m.
When paramedics arrived at the scene, they provided first aid to the man but were unable to save him. The PPD did not release any additional information about the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
