Ontario Motorcyclist Enrique Macias, 22, Killed In Crash With SUV

Shortly after 9:30 pm Tuesday night, Enrique Macias, 22, of Ontario, was riding a blue Kawasaki ZX10 motorcycle south on Grove Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga. Upon entering the intersection of Grove and San Bernardino Road, a Chevy Tahoe driven by a 67 year old Fontana woman, was making a left across his path.

The Tahoe made its turn into the path of Macias’ bike, causing him to strike the rear quarter panel of the SUV. Macias was transported to San Antonio CommunityHospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not determined the exact cause of the accident, but are investigating whether or not the driver of the Tahoe was intoxicated.
