Shea Pinney Survives Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash With Major Injuries in Rancho Cucamonga

Two vehicles were involved in a traffic collision over the weekend, leaving one person dead and the other severely injured in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The incident occurred on the morning of Sunday, June 7, and requires the legal expertise of a car accident lawyer.

In a press release, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said the crash happened at the intersection of Base-Line Road and Haven Avenue and resulted in a fire. The collision involved a 2016 Kia sedan and a 1996 Lexus sedan.

Preliminary investigations showed that the Kia, driven by Shea Pinney, a 35-year-old resident of Rancho Cucamonga, was heading west on Base Line road towards an intersection. At the same time, the Lexus was northbound on Haven. Both cars entered the intersection almost at once, causing them to collide.

The impact of the collision caused the Kia to burst into flames, leaving its driver trapped inside. San Bernardino County Fire Department personnel showed up a few minutes later and contained the fire. They extricated the victim from the Kia, and found him already dead, with severe burns.

Meanwhile, Pinney suffered injuries of undisclosed nature, and Emergency Medical Services officials transported him to a local hospital for treatment. His condition at this time is unknown.

The cause of the incident is under investigation, and the San Bernardino authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to contact the department.

Traffic accident victims can also contact a car accident lawyer for representation as soon as possible.
