Two Truckers Dead in Central Illinois Crash


Two men were killed on Wednesday in a head-on collision near the central Illinois community of Varna. The truckers have been identified as 30-year-old Matthew Luna of Peoria Heights, Illinois and 47-year-old Carl Vanwy of South Haven, Michigan.

Luna and Vanwy were killed when their trucks, traveling on Illinois Route 89, crashed head on and burst into flames. The truck accident is under investigation.
