Tysheaka Roark Killed in Chicago Hit-and-Run Accident


A woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident that took place in Chicago late on April 4, Saturday. The incident was reported to the authorities around 9:50 p.m. Family of the deceased may be able to seek wrongful death damages by consulting a car injury lawyer.

According to the details shared by the authorities, the incident took place on the West Side, close to the West Garfield Park in Chicago, Illinois. The woman who was critically injured in the incident, and later died of her injuries, was identified as Tysheaka Roark, 32.

The accident happened in the 4400 block of the West Madison Street. A gray Ford sedan was traveling eastbound on the road when it hit Roark. She sustained serious injuries in the crash. An autopsy was later conducted on Sunday. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, autopsy results show that Roark died of multiple injuries.

Based on the findings of the autopsy, Roark’s death was ruled an accident. Investigations into the incident are still ongoing, with a focus on identifying and locating the driver who caused the crash. Major Accident Unit and Area North detectives are leading the investigations.
