A man sustained injuries after a traffic collision on Thursday, July 9th, on the northbound lane of Interstate 55 in the Sangamon County area of Illinois. The car accident report disclosed the victim’s name as Hugh Lockett of Chicago.

The county police said that the events that led to the collision began with 26-year-old John Guilbeaux of Bridgton, Missouri. The man was pulling into traffic from the interstate’s right shoulder near milepost 80 when a semi-truck driven by Lockett crashed into the back of his vehicle.
