Lisbon Township ATV Crash Leaves Brandice Tunnell Injured

A woman was injured in an ATV crash that took place in the Lisbon Township over the weekend. The incident occurred on Saturday, July 18. It happened at night and was reported to the authorities at around 7:39 p.m. as per the preliminary accident reports.

According to the details shared by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, the female involved in the incident was identified as Brandice Tunnell. She was riding an ATV close to the Plattville and Church roads when she ran into an accident. It isn’t clear whether this was a single-vehicle crash or if any other persons or vehicles were involved. Single-vehicle ATV crashes are typically rollover incidents or instances when the ATV collides with a structure like a tree.

Following the accident, Tunnell sustained non-critical injuries. The exact nature and extent of her injuries is not known at this moment. Once the first responders arrived on the scene of the accident, Tunnell was transported to a local hospital. Paramedics with the Plainfield Fire Protection District played a key role in performing on-site rescue and in transporting Tunnell for medical treatment.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the ATV Tunnell was operating had no registration. She was also found to be driving without insurance and with no lights. In addition, the authorities also charged her with operating an ATV improperly on a roadway. Subsequent accident reports may reveal the penalties that Tunnell may face as a result of these charges. These will be known once authorities conclude their investigations into the incident.
