A woman suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Whiteside County on Monday afternoon. It’s a case that may benefit from the input of a top accident lawyer.
Illinois State Police revealed that the injured woman was 46-year-old Cedar Rapids resident Shannon Robinson.
She was the driver of a 2014 White Dodge Ram that was heading south on Lyndon Road just after 1 p.m.
Police say 67-year-old Darrel C. Neubauer of Rock Falls, IL was driving west on Bunker Hill Road and approaching Lyndon when for unknown reasons he failed to stop at the stop sign.
He continued traveling through the junction and his 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche
struck Robinson’s vehicle on the driver’s side.
Robinson was transported to a hospital.
Neubauer did not receive any injuries and was ticketed for failing to stop at a stop sign.
