Kelsey Lemaire & Logan Fresia Severely Injured in Berkshire Crash

The expertise of a car injury lawyer would come in handy after a tragic two-vehicle collision in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, left two motorists hospitalised. The incident took place on the afternoon of Monday, May 11.

The Lenox Police Department deployed officers to a location near the area of Route 7 and 20, following reports of a two-vehicle head-on collision. Police said the two vehicles collided at an intersection at precisely 4 p.m.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the crash involved a 2000 Toyota Tundra and a 2010 Buick Enclave. 18-year-old Logan Fressia of Pittsfield, was behind the wheels of the Tundra, heading southbound on the roadway. Just as his vehicle approached the Route 7 & 20 intersection with Route 7A, it veered sideways, crossing the grassy median strip.

The Tundra joined the northbound traffic where it collided with the oncoming Buick Enclave plying the left lane. The two motorists suffered injuries in the collision, and emergency responders showed up shortly after and transported them to Berkshire Medical Center.

An ambulance then transferred the victims from Berkshire to the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. While authorities described Fresia’s injuries as serious, Lenox Police Chief Stephen O’Brien said Lemaires’ were not life-threatening.

Following the crash, officers shut down all northbound lanes on both routes for hours as the response crew worked to collect evidence, and clear the wreckage. They reopened the lanes at precisely 8:15 p.m.

The incident remains under investigation. It is advisable for victims injured in traffic collisions to seek legal counsel from an experienced car injury lawyer in due time.
