Jose Saucedo, Jesus Jimenez Killed In Head-On Crash In Saginaw

Police said two people were killed early Saturday in a head-on collision in Saginaw.

Jose Saucedo, 35, of Fort Worth, and Jesus B. Jimenez, 55, of Hurst, both were pronounced dead at the scene authorities said. Neither driver had passengers in his vehicle and no one else was injured.

Police said the driver of a sedan was driving north on North Saginaw Boulevard at about 3:45 a.m. when he encountered a pickup truck heading the wrong way on the street. The vehicles collided head-on, according to authorities.

Authorities did not reveal which man was driving which vehicle. However, police said the driver of the pickup was ejected by the force of the crash. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office lists Saucedo’s place of death as the roadway, while Jimenez reportedly died in the “driver seat” of a motor vehicle.

Both men died as a result of “blunt-force injuries due to motor vehicle collision.” Additional details about what might have led to the crash have not yet been released, and authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.

Local news outlets posted photos from the scene of the wreck. The images show a crumpled and twisted pickup with the airbag deployed.
