Mattelisse Fox Dies in Frisco Rollover Crash

Tito Diaz Jr.

A woman suffered fatal injuries earlier this week after a vehicle she was traveling in as a passenger encountered a crash in Frisco, Texas. The incident took place on the morning of Wednesday, June 18, and calls for the expertise of a car accident lawyer.

The Frisco Police Department responded to the crash just after 3 a.m. on reports of a single-car wreck on U.S Highway 380.  It happened a few miles off the Legacy Drive intersection.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the vehicle involved was traveling along the east traffic lanes of U.S 380. The man behind the wheels of the car lost control for unknown reasons, causing the vehicle to roll over several times. The victim, 22-year-old Mattelisse Fox, of Denton was a passenger in the vehicle at the time. She got ejected before the car eventually came to rest.

First responders transported Fox to the hospital, where she later passed away from serious injuries sustained.

Meanwhile, the operator of the vehicle, identified as Noe Alexander Bonilla Castaneda, survived the accident with minor injuries. Officers determined he was under the influence when he crashed the car. They detained him on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter after he received treatment at an area hospital.

The Frisco Police Department is heading up an investigation into the fatal wreck, and have asked anyone with a lead on the case to contact the department.

Victims of traffic collisions or their relatives can get in touch with a car accident lawyer for representation in due time.
