Motorists, Yosvany Garcia & Blane Brown Escape Rollover Crash Unscathed

Two motorists involved in a two-vehicle collision on Monday, May 5, in the Buna area of Texas emerged from the wreck without sustaining injuries. One of the drivers involved in the evening crash was, however, issued a citation and would require the legal expertise of a car accident lawyer.

Officers from the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the traffic crash just before 8 pm on reports of a collision between two vehicles that left one of them overturned on Highway 96, close to Central Baptist Church.

Investigators determined that one of the cars involved was a 2004 Ford pickup truck driven by Yosvany Garcia, 42, of Houston. The pickup was at the time hauling a truck on a car-hauler, southbound on US 96.

Driving right behind the Ford was a 2006 Dodge Charger, with Blane Christopher Brown, 24, of Kirbyville, behind the wheels. Officers said the operator of the Dodge failed to bring his speed under control as he approached the towing truck, causing his vehicle to strike the pickup from the rear.

As a result, the pickup truck rolled over at least once before coming to rest on its roof. Garcia was able to crawl out of his wrecked vehicle, without sustaining any injuries. Brown was also uninjured.

Neither of the vehicles was conveying a passenger at the time of the collision. Detectives determined that Brown’s failure to control his speed was the cause of the traffic accident. He was issued a traffic citation to that effect.

Anyone involved in a case relating to a traffic crash should get in touch with a car accident lawyer as soon as possible, to ensure they are well represented.
