Police are in search of the driver of an SUV that struck and killed 34 year old motorcycle rider Brian Michel Johnson in Santa Rosa.

Around 8pm on Feb. 4, Johnson passed through an intersection near Calistoga Road when he struck the concrete island, falling off his bike. As witnesses summoned police, an SUV then ran Johnson over in the road, and kept driving. Many reported the driver did not even stop.

Johnson was killed almost instantly.
