A motorcyclist was killed and another person injured Sunday evening in a multi-vehicle wreck in Tucson, according to authorities. Joseph Snyder, 26, of Tucson, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred at about 5 p.m. Sunday on West Speedway, according to car accident reports.
His passenger sustained serious injuries as well, Tucson police reported.
Authorities said Snyder was driving east on West Speedway at about 5 p.m. Sunday when he ran a red light at the intersection with North Greasewood Road. His motorcycle collided with a vehicle heading south on North Greasewood Road.

His passenger, whose name was not included in a press release issued by the Tucson Police Department, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
