The families of two cousins killed over the weekend in a two-vehicle collision in Detroit, Michigan, would require the services of a car accident lawyer. The tragic occurrence took place on Sunday morning, April 26, and claimed the lives of Teon Williams and Leon Freeman, both of Detroit.

Authorities affirmed that the two occupants of the struck vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Following the accident, the unidentified offending motorist fled the site of the crash before law enforcement arrived.

Detroit authorities have since been on the lookout for the hit-and-run driver. Based on witness accounts on other evidence obtained during investigations, the suspect has been described as a light-complexioned black man, about 18 to 22 years of age.

The culprit was reportedly dressed in green sweatpants when he struck the fatal victims.
