Suspected Drowning Accident At Bear Lake, San Bernardino


Emergence rescue crews reported to a San Bernardino lake in an effort to locate a missing man who may have drowned in the lake. According to reports, the missing 33-year-old was in a boat on Bear Lake when the drowning occurred at 3:30 pm Friday. It has now been reported that the Alhambra man was trying to help a fellow boater who was in the water, but ended up drowning though the other man made it back to the boat.

The missing man is now suspected to have been a drowning victim, as he was not located by rescue services up until last night. Searches at Bear Lake continued into the night via sonar operation for the victim, whose name has not been released following the suspected drowning accident. The search resumed July 4 morning at 6 am to locate the suspected drowning victim.
