Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is a leading cause of traffic accidents in the United States and globally. This traffic violation is a serious misdemeanor with severe penalties attached to it, especially with repeat offenders.

Sadly, these accidents result in grave repercussions for the victims and their families, which is only appeasable by bringing the culprit to book. A sure way of ensuring that is by involving a car accident lawyer with experience in handling such situations.
