Motorcyclist Ryan Bolz Dies in Collision with Car

A motorcyclist lost his life after colliding with a car near Modesto on Tuesday, August 25. The deceased was identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office as Ryan Bolz, 44, of Turlock.

According to the details shared by the authorities, Bolz was traveling southbound on the Albers Road when the accident took place. He was riding a motorcycle at the time, identified as a 2007 Suzuki. As he rode close to the Yosemite Boulevard, a northbound vehicle took a left turn.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was identified as Logan Prahser, 25, of Oakdale. Prahser was driving a 2012 Chevrolet SUV and intended to reach a business by taking a left turn. As he turned left, his vehicle entered the southbound lanes and came directly in the path of Bolz and his motorcycle.

Bolz’s motorcycle crashed straight into the side of the SUV. The sheer impact of the collision caused Bolz to be ejected from the vehicle, causing him serious injuries. He was rushed to the Memorial Medical Center where attempts to revive him failed. He was subsequently pronounced dead.

According to California Highway Patrol, Bolz was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Prahser was also wearing a seatbelt and remained largely safe with no injuries to report.

The incident occurred early on Tuesday morning at around 7 a.m. Following the incident, authorities conducted on-site cleanup and investigation which affected traffic in the area. However, the normal movement of the traffic had largely resumed by 8 a.m.
