Tragedy has struck the Orange County community as five teens were killed in a fiery car crash in Newport Beach. The teens were driving southbound on Jamboree Road when police say their car lost control, entered the center divider causing the Infiniti to smash into a tree which split the car and caught on fire. Four of the passengers were pronounced dead on the scene. The fifth was transported to Mission Viejo hospital, but did not survive.

Driver: 17-year-old Abdulrahman M. Alyahyan, a senior at University High School in Irvine
Passengers: Robin A. Cabrera, 17; Aurora C. Cabrera, 16; Nozad Al Hamawendi, 17; Cecilia D. Zamora, 17; all students at Irvine High School.
