Suspected Drunk Driver Hurt when Car Hits Tree and Overturns.

A 24 year old driver in a Nissan Altima was driving on Black Mountain Road northbound, when it veered to the left, went over the center divider, hit a tree, then overturned after impact.

The driver suffered a broken jaw, pelvis, and ribs. According to the San Diego Police Department, the passenger, a 24 year old woman, escaped with no injuries from the crash that took place a little after 8:20pm on the 12400 block of Black Mountain Road. The driver was rushed to the area hospital by paramedics with non-threatening injuries.
