Earlier today, a tragic car accident on the 280 freeway near San Francisco resulted in the fatality of a 31-year-old man from Daly City. Officials have identified the deceased as Heinrich Santos, 31, as the lone fatality of a horrific crash that occurred earlier today, Sunday December 16, 2012.

CAUSE OF THE CRASH STILL UNKNOWN

The cause of this crash is still under investigation by the CHP and a final police report won’t be ready for several weeks. Typical causes of car accidents include speed and distracted drivers.

The fatal car accident Santos’ was involved in was on the southbound side of the 280 near the Westborough Blvd exit. The crash occurred just before 12:30pm. Henich Santos was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash
