Mitchell Viturino, 61, Of Fullerton Killed By Driver Who Ran A Red Light


Police have identified a man killed early Monday morning in Santa Ana by drivers running a red light, as 61 year old Mitchell Viturino of Fullerton.

Just after 2 AM, a Mercedes was speeding, ran a red light, then broadsided a Ford Mustang driven by Viturino. According to witness accounts, two injured men left the Mercedes immediately after. Both were treated for injuries, but police have still not been able to determine which one was the driver.

Crews has to use the Jaws Of Life to reach Viturino, but were unable to save his life before paramedics arrived.

Police have not made any arrests as of yet, however their investigation is still ongoing.
