Police have released the name of the victim of a deadly crash on Highway 154 in Santa Barbara County.

52 year old Simon Ruiz of Norwalk lost control of his Ford Ranger and crossed into the opposite lane. He collided with a bus from Chumash Casino, injuring two passengers. Ruiz was partially ejected and California Highway Patrol pronounced him dead at the scene. It is not clear what caused Ruiz to lose control of his truck.

Ruiz is survived by his wife, Chayo Rodriguez.
