Tragedy struck near Jefferson Park on the Northwest Side of Chicago, when a multi-car accident claimed the life of Marion-Mario Tahiraj and injured one other.
Late Monday night, a BMW driven by a 19 year old, crashed into two other cars before striking a tree. The driver was treated for non-life threatening injuries, while the surviving driver was taken to a nearby hospital for serious injuries. Tahiraj was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police suspect the crash was alcohol related, and charges against the driver are pending.
