Laurence Talbert Killed In South Loop Motorcycle Accident


36-year-old Laurence Talbert, of the 4600 block of South Drexel Boulevard, died this past Monday night when his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle in the South Loop.

Mr. Talbert was riding his motorcycle east on Cermak Road at about 11:15 p.m., when he was hit by a white Infiniti making a left turn on South Archer Avenue. The driver of the Infiniti was issued a citation by police for failing to yield the right of way to Talbert’s motorcycle.

Mr. Talbert was rushed Stroger Hospital where he was tragically pronounced dead at 11:42 p.m. Further investigation into the motorcycle crash is ongoing.
