Three men whom the Davenport Police Department took into custody on Tuesday, June 23rd, would need a top accident lawyer. The trio identified as Austen Michael Thomas, 22, of Davenport, Isaiah Dominique Butler, 22, of Davenport, and Kenyon D. Pulliam, 21, of Moline took the police on a chase before crashing their vehicle in Moline, Illinois.
According to the DPD, the events that led to the accident started with a call about potential gun violence. Soon after, officers found a vehicle matching the car description the suspects were driving and started chasing it. The pursuit continued into Bettendorf before crossing the Interstate 74 Bridge.
It ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed in a construction zone on 19th Street. There is currently no information on what caused the accident, but the police found Thomas, Butler, and Pulliam inside and took them into custody.
Thomas is facing a charge of aggravated resisting arrest, while Butler is facing charges of resisting arrest and aggravated fleeing and eluding; both are Class 4 felonies with no bond. Pulliam is facing charges of resisting arrest and robbery warrant out of Rock Island County; his bail bond is $100,000.
