Gerelle Rhan Charged with Murder After Fatal Crash in Westland

A 19-year-old man identified as Gerelle Rhan was, on Wednesday, May 27, charged with murder following a two-vehicle collision in Westland, Michigan. The accident led to the death of a 48-year-old woman, Chris Tina Ward, according to accident reports.

The crash occurred on Wednesday, May 20, around 7: 53 PM. Officers of Westland police and Garden City police officers rushed to the location at Merriman Road and Cherry Hill Road to respond to the incident.

When they arrived at the scene, they discovered two damaged cars in the southeast corner of the intersection of the two roads. They also found the dead body of Ms. Ward in her vehicle and transported her away from the scene.

The officers also found Rhan at the crash scene with injuries on his body. They took him to a hospital where he received treatment.
