Richard Bringer, 46, died in a tragic Houston workplace accident on January 11, 2020.
Bringer worked at the Corrugated Concepts and Packaging at 5050 Campbell Road in northwest Houston. On Saturday morning, Bringer went inside a baler, which is a machine that compacts and bails cardboard boxes. Bringer was repairing an oil leak. Another employee did not see Bringer and turned the machine on.
Tragically, Bringer was crushed in the compactor.
Houston police responded to the call and pronounced Bringer dead at the scene at about 11:10 a.m.
There have been no charges in the incident and the investigation into this Houston workplace accident is ongoing.
Paramedics report transporting a patient to Memorial City Hospital, but that patient was not Bringer. At this time, we don’t know who that patient was or the nature of the medical emergency.
Corrugated Concepts and Packaging has been in business since 1995. They manufacture custom cardboard boxes.
