Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety state that officers responded to distress calls about the crash around 11 p.m. and rushed to the scene. There, they found the victim whose vehicle, a 2018 Jeep struck a tree.

From preliminary investigations carried out, the officers discovered that Brock was driving northbound on Blocker road at the time of the crash. Driving at high speeds, asides being against the law, is also dangerous to both a driver of a vehicle and other motorists. When motorists go at excessive speeds, they run the risk of causing collisions that could end up being fatal.

A driver that drives at unsafe speed could end up going off the road and crashing into harmful objects. Such a driver may also crash his or her vehicle into the cars of other road users. This could lead to death, life-threatening injuries, and traffic jams.

Accident reports reveal that speeding is a major cause of road collisions in the state of Texas, and hence authorities always caution drivers from doing such.
