Driving at high speeds, asides being against the law, is also dangerous to both a driver of a vehicle and other motorists. When motorists go at excessive speeds, they run the risk of causing collisions that could end up being fatal.

A driver that drives at unsafe speed could end up going off the road and crashing into harmful objects. Such a driver may also crash his or her vehicle into the cars of other road users. This could lead to death, life-threatening injuries, and traffic jams.

Accident reports reveal that speeding is a major cause of road collisions in the state of Texas, and hence authorities always caution drivers from doing such.
