Trapped Passenger Cut From Car after Wreck


A Fullerton car crash involving a gray Toyota Avalon and silver Nissan pathfinder resulted in injuries with at least one person being removed from their vehicle via the Jaws of Life. The horrific car accident occurred at 11:14 a.m. on 224 E Commonwealth Avenue. Authorities arrived to find a passenger trapped inside the gray Avalon which appeared to have been pushed into a white Mazda MX3.

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove the man after which the passenger and the driver of the Avalon were promptly rushed to a local hospital.  The extent of injuries have not been reported.

When one thinks about it, the Jaws of life have the appropriate name.  These amazing steel cutters have been used to help many motorist and passengers who were unable to leave their automobile after an accident.
