Roland Juarez Tragically Killed in Single-Vehicle Wreck in East Hall

A tragic crash which took place on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Timber Ridge Road and Miller Lake Road in Hall County, Georgia claimed the life of a 28-year-old Gainesville resident whose vehicle veered off the highway and slammed into a tree. The deadly occurrence happened just after midnight on Wednesday, March 25.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office responded to the fatal wreck at about 12:15 am after passers-by reported the crash. Authorities released in a statement that the collision involved a vehicle conveying a single occupant who died in the accident.

According to the reports, the motorist was heading South on Timber Ridge Road before the crash. However, just as he rounded a curve at its interchange with Miller Lake, the car drifted off the Highway, spinning out of control until it crashed into a tree on its path.

The impact of the collision left the vehicle severely dented. Rescue operatives from the Hall County Fire Service attempted rescuing the man from the wreck, but he never made it out alive. Paramedics declared the victim dead on the scene.

The identity of the deceased driver was later disclosed as 28-year-old Roland Juarez of Gainesville. No other casualty was recorded in the occurrence.

Sheriff’s deputies determined that the Gainesville resident was not restrained by a seatbelt at the time of the crash, which went against the traffic safety regulations of the state.

It was not immediately made public if the fatal victim was under the influence at the time of the accident.

The incident remains under investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
