A head-on car accident that took place on Friday morning in Malibu, near Los Angeles, is thought to be intentional according to the police. The car accident killed two people and injured another.
At approximately 12:40 a.m. on the Pacific Coast highway, the two cars crashed into one another. The first, a Saturn, is believed to have caused the accident, perhaps on purpose. Before the car accident, the Saturn was seen trying to cause an accident in a different location while making a U-turn.
In this head-on accident, the Saturn crossed over into westbound lanes while traveling eastbound at a speed over 80 mph. The wrong way driver drove towards the other car, a Ford Mustang, and hit it, causing a fire upon impact. The drivers of both cars were injured. The Mustang’s passenger suffered from leg injuries and arm injuries, and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The Pacific Coast Highway remained closed until 9 a.m. that morning.
