Crash leaves man in critical condition

A car accident that occurred on Sunday night has left a Palos Veredes man in critical condition in a local hospital, where he was still being treated up until this morning. The car accident, which took place at around 3:14pm, involved the 2006 Ford Mustang of the injured man and a 2008 Volkswagen Golf near the intersection of Skypark Drive and Garnier Street in Torrance.

The driver of the Volkswagen did not sustain any injuries, but both the passenger and driver of the Mustang reportedly suffered injuries following the car accident. The passenger of the Mustang was transported to Torrance Memorial for treatment of minor injuries, and 18-year-old driver was taken to Harbor UCLA Medical Center, where he remains.
