Arizona Authorities Looking To ID Other Driver In Tempe Wreck That Killed Michael Trousdale

Investigators are seeking public assistance in identifying the driver in an apparent hit-and-run crash Monday that killed a motorcyclist in Tempe.

Michael Trousdale, 49, of Gilbert, died after his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon on U. S. 60, according to authorities. The other driver then fled the scene, the Arizona Department of Public Safety told local media outlets.

Trousdale was driving on U.S. 60 near McClintock Drive just before 4 p.m. Monday, according to authorities. Witnesses told investigators that a white car might have made contact with Trousdale’s motorcycle, causing it to crash.

The vehicle reportedly pulled over briefly before leaving the scene, witnesses told local investigators.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is seeking public assistance in identifying the other vehicle and its driver. Anyone with information about the incident, including photos or video, is asked to call the department’s duty office at 602-223-2212.
