Liliana Delgado, Daughter Rosemary Marin Among Glendale Crash Victims

Liliana Delgado

The Glendale Police Department has disclosed the names of the mother-daughter pair who died on Sunday night following a tragic collision on 55th Avenue in Glendale, Arizona. Authorities on Tuesday, April 7, named the two women as Liliana Delgado, 39, and her daughter Rosemary Marin, 18. The decedents’ family is likely to involve a car accident lawyer to oversee the legal proceedings.

The incident occurred at precisely 10:30 pm on Sunday, April 5, leaving at least three casualties in its wake.

According to the reports obtained, a Ford Mustang westbound on Bethany Home Road approached its intersection with 55th Avenue. The driver failed to yield to the stop signal on the traffic light. As a result, offending motorists collided with a northbound Honda minivan, which had the right of way.

The driver of the Honda, Liliana Delgado, and her daughter, Rosemary Marin, both suffered fatal injuries in the crash and were pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

The operator of the Mustang, whose name was withheld from the public, also suffered major injuries in the crash. Paramedics transported the driver to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators did not immediately determine if factors like speed and impairment also contributed to the mishap. The incident remains under active investigations.

Families of fatal victims in a car crash are advised to consult a car accident lawyer to access the evidence, and layout all the available options through which justice can be served.
