One man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Eagle Rock, California.
Four vehicles total were involved in the crash, which occurred on the westbound Glendale Freeway near the Ventura Freeway at 5:07 a.m. on Saturday.
Jonathan Nunez Molina, 25, was driving a gray 2002 Toyota Corolla, when he made an unsafe turn and lost control, striking a wall on the side of the freeway. Nunez Molina left his vehicle and was hit by a black 2007 Lincoln Town Car.
Two other vehicles were also involved when they struck Nunez Molina’s Corolla: a white 1998 Corolla and a black 2016 Dodge Ram.
Nunez Molina was killed after being hit by the Lincoln. The driver of the Dodge, a 78-year-old woman, was hospitalized with a cut to her left hand, and the driver of the white Corolla was also hospitalized as a precaution.
The crash remains under investigation, and it is uncertain whether alcohol or drugs were a factor.
