A Los Angeles accident involving two vehicles has resulted in one death, says authorities. The man who died, aged between 30 and 35, has now been identified as Brandon David Brown.
The accident took place on San Diego Freeway 405 on Sunday when, reportedly, Brown drove his Toyota Tercel into the rear of an unidentified dark-colored SUV. After the accident, the SUV fled the scene before authorities got there, witnesses say.
When help arrived, Brown was declared dead at the scene of the accident. Brown was the sole occupant of his vehicle.
Although the SUV may not have caused the accident, its leaving the scene without consulting with the other driver or providing contact information may make this accident a hit and run. Los Angeles police are currently looking for the SUV. The exact cause of the car accident is still unknown.
