Early on Friday, a police chase got out of hand when a car being pursued crashed into a house at Pasadena. After the crash took place, the car’s removal from the home also caused a gas leak and resulting evacuation.
The time and place of the crash was around midnight on Orange Grove Avenue in Pasadena. Police pursued the vehicle into the neighborhood from the Panaroma City area, where the police chase began. The suspect inside the vehicle was suspected in a homicide and was carrying a firearm, police said. Some witnesses claim hearing gunshots just after the crash took place.
The suspect was trapped in the car after crashing it into the house. He was injured and was taken to a local hospital afterwards, but only after being extricated by Los Angeles firefighters. All of the people in the homes got away from the accident safely, avoiding any injuries.
