A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in Wadsworth, Illinois last Saturday.
The crash occurred in the evening, when the motorcyclist was riding his 2013 Harley Davidson south on Route 41.
The motorcycle rear-ended a 1985 Pontiac Fiero which was also traveling south, and the motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Fiero, a 63-year-old male, was uninjured, and no citations were given in the crash.
The motorcyclist has not been identified, but he was a 42-year-old male resident of Beach Park. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash (which is legal under Illinois state law).
