Georgia Power Employee, Gabriel Muns Villanueva, Killed in Forest Park


A traffic collision which occurred on Wednesday evening involving at least two vehicles claimed the life of a 28-year-old motorist in Forest Park, Georgia. The fatal occurrence took place at night on Wednesday, March 25.

The Georgia State Patrol confirmed the incident in a press release, affirming that the wreck was reported at about 7:30 pm along Falcon Drive and resulted in a single casualty.

As reported, the motorist was travelling through the drive when for reasons yet to be determined, he crashed into a semi tractor-trailer which was parked on his path, causing his vehicle severe damages.

The reports ascertained that there were no occupants in the parked big rig at the time of the crash.

The motorist, who was driving alone in his vehicle, sustained fatal injuries in the two-vehicle collision and was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics accompanying the responding patrol officers.

The deceased accident victim has since been identified by the Georgia State Patrol as Gabriel Muns Villanueva, a 28-year-old resident of Atlanta, Georgia, who worked as a test engineer for Georgia Power beginning 2017 as per his Facebook page.

It was not immediately determined if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the accident. No further information regarding the fatal traffic collision has been released.

The case remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol to ascertain what caused the crash. Postmortem examinations would also reveal the fatal victim’s cause of death, and updates would be made available once released.
