Three people were injured on Lake Shore Drive in the Gold Coast area of Chicago on Wednesday at around 11:45 p.m.
The crash occurred when their car, a Honda Civic, collided with a guardrail near North Avenue, and rolled over. An 18-year-old male driver was trapped in the vehicle, and had to be extracted by the Jaws of Life. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with critical injuries.
Two other passengers, also males, were critically injured. Their identities have not been released.
No other vehicles were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
