19-Year-Old Gabrielle Wiggins Dies in Car Accident

The family of a teenager may be seeking advice from a car injury attorney after yet another fatal accident in Texas.

A teenager is dead following a crash that occurred in south Fort Worth over the weekend.

The victim is 19-year-old Gabrielle Wiggins, according to information from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.

The authorities have not released much information about the fatal crash.

However, it is known that police responded to an accident at the intersection of Frazier Avenue and West Waggoman Street at 4:14 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

Wiggins was said to be a passenger in a vehicle and she reportedly died at the scene.

It is not clear if anyone else was injured or if more than one vehicle was involved.

According to news reports, investigators are still working to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.

If it is determined that someone else’s negligence caused the traffic fatality, the family may be able to seek compensation. In Texas, only parents, children or spouses of deceased individuals can bring a wrongful death claim.

The victim’s estate can also bring a survival action to recover damages like medical expenses and pain and suffering. Survivors usually reach out to a car injury attorney for advice and representation.

Even though Texas is under a state-wide stay at home order because of the COVID-19 pandemic, fatal accidents continue to occur. This is happening even though there are fewer vehicles are on the roads these days.
