Auto accident attorneys would come in handy following the identification of a tour bus driver who died over the weekend after encountering a crash involving two 18-wheelers in Hillsboro, Texas. The Hill County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, May 19, disclosed the victim’s identity as Enrique Morales, 60.

The fatal occurrence took place early on Sunday morning, May 17, on Interstate 35, near the mile marker 365. Police said three vehicles were involved in the traffic wreck, including two 18-wheeled trailers, and a tour bus conveying several passengers. It happened at about 2:30 a.m. and resulted in two confirmed casualties.

Preliminary reports supplied by the Texas Department of Public Safety showed a motorist, manning one of the big rigs, suffered critical injuries. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital in Waco via ambulance. Authorities failed to release further information about his condition or his identity at this time.

Enrique Morales, who was driving the tour bus, sustained fatal injuries, and medics pronounced him dead at the scene. He was a driver with Torres Tours, police disclosed in the reports. None of his passengers was seriously injured in the collision.

Following the crash, the DPS and Hill County Sheriff officials shut all lanes on I-35 for hours, as medical personnel evaluated all the involved parties. Investigators also worked to collate the required evidence to facilitate the process.

The cause and liability of the traffic accident remain under investigation.

Involving auto accident attorneys would ensure the victims get compensation for the financial, medical, psychological, and physical consequences of the crash.
