Cesar Cabrera Named Fatal Victim of San Antonio Crash

A man identified as Cesar Cabrera died in a crash that occurred in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, May 2. According to accident reports, the deceased crashed his SUV, after which he was hit by another vehicle.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased, aged 43, was driving on the roadway at about 10:15 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, a Ford Explorer. This caused him to strike a concrete barrier in the 13600 block of W. Interstate 10. Afterwards, his vehicle was struck by a Chevy Silverado pick-up truck.

An eyewitness revealed to authorities that Cabrera might have lost control of his vehicle after being possibly cut off by a Toyota RAV4.

Cesar Cabrera was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while medics took the driver of the Chevy Silverado to a hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Police Department is continuing with investigations to ascertain the cause of the crash and also if the deceased was cut off by another vehicle. If the police discover that such was the case, the defaulting driver could be ticketed or face criminal charges.
